I am offering information to anyone that would like it about Prime. I have been with them for a year. From non-cdl holder to Class A with the following endorsements; Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles and Triples. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

`how do you like it there? are you making any money? my cousin worked there for awhile until we compared numbers and he realized that i worked less and made more. I do blanket wrap, don't pay for reefer fuel, my truck payment is 1/2 of Prime's, and I don't spend hours at produce markets waiting to get loaded/unloaded. Now, I don't know about their flatbed or tanker divisions, but I don't see how their reefer division drivers make any money, unless they run team.
Just my $0.02 worth.

`Sorry it took so long to respond. I thought this site was going to email me when people commented. I like it there. I'm averaging $1800 a week before taxes but after my expenses. My truck is grossing between $4700 and $5500 a week. The reefer fuel isn't a major expense, the units are very fuel efficient and if you use the intellisets most loads can be put in start/stop verses continuous run saving even more fuel. The company pays for washouts and the customer pays for lumpers. On both ends detention is paid. My truck is an 2006 and my weekly payment is $702 which covers bobtail/deadhead insurance, qualcomm, physical damage insurance and the truck. I've talked to some other drivers and their companies had a lower truck payment but everything else that was included in my payment were separate charges. I ran team for a month and was bringing in $2700-$3000 a week after expenses before taxes but found out team isn't for me, no matter how much money. lol All of the major truckstops we're getting fuel discounts, plus a great fuel surcharge. Usually the customers are paying more then the fuel surcharge guarantee which is an added bonus. This week it's $.53/cpm based on 6.0mpg. Give me a shout if you have anymore questions. Drive safe!!
